It was directed by Joe Roth and written and produced by Chris Columbus. It stars Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis as a couple who decide to skip Christmas one year since their daughter is away, much to their neighbors’ chagrin. This was Tom Poston’s final film before his death in 2007.
