Drinks Guide to a Festive New Year’s Eve

Drinks Guide to a Festive New Year’s Eve

If you are arranging the New Year’s party this year – and you want to mark the year’s turn with a bang of a party – then there is help to be found. The vodka brand Koskenkorva has developed several New Year’s drinks suitable for the entire festive evening – from the time guests arrive until they are sent home again in the taxi.

Your guests have arrived, and they are all in their finest outfits, tripping a little impatiently for the party to get started. Everyone is, of course, expectant concerning the course of the evening. Welcome guests with a festive ‘Celebration’ drink as a good start to the New Year’s party.

Celebration Drink:

  • 2 cl Vodka (If you can find one that tastes like Blueberry, buy that!)
  • 2 cl Banana liqueur
  • 3 – 4 slices of lime
  • Sprite
  • Ice

During dinner, there may be time to discuss the year that is almost over. It is a topic that can quickly put a damper on the good party, as especially the last half of 2021 has been a gloomy period marked by the pandemic. Get your guests to relax and come up with other ideas with ‘Chill Bill’ drinks.

Chill Bill:

  • 4 cl Vodka (Berry flavor)
  • 1 – 2 Strawberries
  • 1 – 2 cl of Strawberry syrup
  • 1 Slice of grapefruit
  • Garnish with a strawberry and 1 cm fresh red chili

The evening is approaching the turn of the year; the champagne corks are springing – this is the moment everyone has been waiting for. But if champagne is left in the bottles after midnight, there is no reason to throw out the treasures. Use the last champagne for delicious and tasty champagne drinks.

Zen Petit:

  • 4 cl Vodka (Berry flavor)
  • 2 cl Peach liqueur
  • Champagne
  • Ice

You just entered the new year with high hopes of all the amazing adventures and mysteries it might hold. So why not treat yourself and your guest by serving a new and delicious alternative like an “Apple Pie”? It is wonderfully refreshing and does not lie so heavily in the stomach.

Apple Pie:

  • 2 cl Vodka (Vanilla)
  • 2 cl Apple liqueur
  • 6 cl Apple juice
  • Sprite
  • Garnish with a slice of apple and a vanilla rod

You have been out shooting the new year with a bang of party fireworks but have gradually become cold on your feet and hands. If you need a drink to warm up, offer an extra ‘hot’ of this kind.

Hot Mango:

  • 4 cl Vodka (Vanilla)
  • 6 cl Mango Juice
  • Juice from a slice of lime
  • Sprite
  • Garnish with a fresh chili

If your guests have unexpectedly started to get a little sleepy in the evening, it’s time to spice up the party a bit with good dance music and festive ‘Boogie’ drinks.

Boogie:

  • 2 cl Vodka (Green Apple)
  • 2 cl Passion fruit liqueur
  • Sprite
  • 3 – 4 Slices of Lime
  • Ice

It’s time to send the guests home, but as usual, there is a fight over the taxis on New Year’s Eve. While your guests are waiting, you can give them a ‘Tiger Shake’ to strengthen themselves on, so you are sure to come all the way home.

Tiger Shake:

  • 2 cl Vodka (Berry flavor)
  • 2 cl Coffee liqueur
  • 2/3 Milk
  • 1/3 Orange soda
  • Ice

Happy New Year and Happy Drinking!
