Primatologist Davis Okoye is a man who keeps people away but shares an unpleasant bond with George, the exceptionally intelligent, incredibly rare albino Silverback gorilla who has been in his care when he rescued the young orphans from bullies. But a rogue genetic experiment that has gone wrong mutes this gentle monkey into a massive creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it is soon discovered that there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha carnivores tear over North America, it’s destroying everything in their way, the Okoye teams with discredited geneticist Kate Caldwell will secure an antidote and fight the way through an ever-changing battlefield, not just to end a global disaster but to save the terrible creature that once was his friend.
