The Best Places to Celebrate New Years
Although Christmas may be what is most important to us right now, the New Year is coming, as you know right after. And if you are looking for the best party at all, something suggests that you should invest in a plane ticket.
Hotels.com has asked 27,000 people from around the world to find the best party.
And in that regard, there is broad consensus that the city that never sleeps, aka. The Big Apple, is the world’s best city if you want a really good city tour!
Thus, 27,000 travelers from most of the world voted the city that never sleeps in first place over the big cities where you can have the best party. New York is thus by far the best party city in the world. Next comes the gambler paradise of Las Vegas and urban London.
Europa is best for Partying?
The study also shows that while both first and second place on the list go to cities in the United States, six of the top ten nightlife cities are European.
Both London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Amsterdam and Madrid are represented in the top 10. While Los Angeles and Bangkok, as the only Asian city, occupy ninth and tenth places.
“New York and Las Vegas are cities where a good travel adventure is always guaranteed. But it is the diversity of European cities that makes them so interesting and exciting for travelers from all over the world,” says Alison Couper of Hotels.com and continues :
“There are therefore also many different experiences to pick up across Europe, whether it’s a night at one of the notorious clubs in Berlin, dinner at a floating restaurant or enjoying a coffee shop in Amsterdam or a visit to one of Paris’ small, intimate bars and venues. “
