8 Surprisingly Healthy Things that happen when you Drink Wine
Who doesn’t want nice teeth and healthy skin?
There is almost always a reason to drink wine, but it is rare that the final argument is that it is healthy.
But you can easily use it the next time you find out what to drink.
Wine is so healthy and has so many benefits that there are gradually no reasons to refrain from enjoying a glass.
Partypingo has compiled a list that we must share with you.
8 Good Reasons to Drink Wine
1. It’s Good for your Brain
The grapes used for red wine contain the active substance, resveratrol, which helps in short-term memory.
A research study has shown that the subjects who had ingested the drug got much easier by remembering words and it also increased the activity of the part of the brain that controls memory, learning and emotions.
2. Healthier Teeths
Few people realize that a little wine can strengthen your teeth. But just as resveratrol protects the skin, it actually does the same thing in the mouth as it protects teeth from harmful bacteria.
3. Become Happier
A glass of wine has a relaxing effect, but it can actually counteract depression as well. A Spanish study has shown that people who drink between two and seven glasses of wine in a week have a reduced risk of getting a depression.
4. Better Skin
Resveratrol in the blue grapes used for red wine has been shown to inhibit the growth of acne-causing bacteria. And so that it should not be a lie, the most effective way to take the resveratrol is to drink it. Scientists have found that the best way to consume it is wine, fruit and vegetables rather than creams, where it is not as effective.
5. Reduces the risk of liver disease
It’s no secret that alcohol can cause liver damage, but research shows that drinking one way – one glass of wine a day – can actually be fatty liver disease, the most common liver disease in our part of the world.
6. Stabilizes Blood Sugar
Red wine is rich in polyphenol, which is an antioxidant that interacts with the cells in the body that affect fat storage and regulate blood sugar. Even the amount of polyphenol in a small glass of red wine has proven to be enough to regulate and stabilize blood sugar.
7. Better immune system
Research shows that red wine can strengthen the immune system. A study that followed the drinking habits of 4,000 teachers for a year found that those who drank wine had a reduced risk of being cold as opposed to those who drank beer and spirits. And even those who did not drink alcohol at all had a greater risk of being cold.
The researchers believe that it is the antioxidants in wine that help protect against inflammation in the body and strengthen the immune system.
8. Wine is good for your Heart
If white wine is your favorite, fear not. There are also positive health things associated with the golden drink. Instead of resveratrol, which is in red wine, white wine contains the ‘bright’ substances tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol, which researchers have found are healthy for the heart.
In particular, white wines from Italy, France and Germany are rich in antioxidants.
