The show is about six friends living in Manhattan, all with different personalities, beliefs, and backgrounds. First, you got the ever-hungry ladies’ man Joey to clean and organize Monica.

Friends is for sure one of the funniest sitcoms in television history. The characters are perfect in their roles and hilarious, which makes it the ideal show to turn into a drinking game!

• Something to drink

Drink once when:

• All six friends are in Monica’s apartment
• Chandler sits in a weird position
• Joey gets an audition
• Phoebe mentions something strange from her past
• You listen to a voicemail
• Someone takes a sip of coffee
• A family member shows
• One of the friends gets a new girlfriend or fling
• Someone mentions Monica’s obsession with cleaning (Drink twice if she’s cleaning)
• One of the characters is on the street
• Someone says, “I KNOW!”
• Someone says, “How you doin’?”
• Rachel and Monica are arguing
• Someone says, “Oh my God!”
• Someone says, “PIVOT!”
• Someone says, “Regina Phalange.”
• Someone says, “WE WERE ON A BREAK

Drink twice when:

• Monica and Rachel mention High School
• Ross’s lesbian ex-wife is mentioned (double up if Carol and Susan show up)
• Chandler and Joey sit in their chairs
• Chandler’s horrible love life is mentioned
• It’s someone’s birthday
• Joey makes a fool of himself at an audition
• Someone asks to use Central Perk’s phone
• Chandler says his parent’s divorce
• Ross corrects a person’s grammar or vocabulary
• Someone mentions Ursula

Take a shot when:

• Phoebe brings up her deceased mother
• You hear “Smelly Cat.”
• There is a big guest star (although they were not stars at that time)
• Joey gets the role
• Monica’s mother says something passively-aggressively
• Someone mentions “Ugly Naked Guy.”
• Rachel mentions Barry
• Rachel says something that reminds us of how spoiled she is
• Ross gets married or divorced
• Someone moves apartment
