While gathering junk one day, the best friends meet Sonny and Sam Slappy, an eerie talking dummy from an unpublished “Goosebumps” book by R.L. Stine. Hope to start his own family, slappy kidnapper Sonny’s mother, and bring all her ghoulish friends back to life – just in time for Halloween. When the sleepy town is overcome with monsters, witches, and other mysterious creatures, Sonny goes with his sister Sam and a friendly neighbor to save Sonny’s mother and foil Slappy’s plan.
