Drinking Rules
Now, the setup of this drinking game will resemble a tall “L”. You’ll first find the four Aces and then arrange them side by side on the short end of the “L” shape before laying the next 8 cards on top of the deck face-down along the tall side of the “L” shape. They have to be the start of the first row above the row of Aces. Then, appoint someone who will be the announcer this person will commentate on the proceedings in the common horse racing manner (the more enthusiastic the better) and flip the cards throughout the game!
Before we move on to the real deal, first, every player should bet not with money but with the number of drinks wagered in the drinking game on their chosen suit which they think will win! Before the race commences, the players will have to drink half of their waged number of drinks and then we’re off! Are your glasses ready, boys? Let’s begin!
The game starts with the announcer flipping one card at a time from the top of the card deck. The aces will advance by one row at a time whenever they match the card as they are being flipped. This process goes on and on until one card has gone past the final row!
When a new row is reached by any one of the Aces, the face down card that represents that row in the “L” shape will be flipped over and the Ace with the corresponding suit moves back a row this is called faltering.
