Ring of Fire Drinking Game
Ring of Fire, Circle of Death, or Kings Cup is one of the most well-known drinking games, here is a popular set of rules.
- A deck of cards
- A Glass or Bottle
- Something to drink
- Two or more players
Place a glass (a pint glass if available) in the middle of all the players and create a ring around it with all the cards face down, ensuring no gaps in the circle. Everyone takes turns to take a card whilst keeping the circle intact, if it is broken that player must finish their drink.
Every Card has a rule associated with it, these can be changed but here are our favorites:
A – Waterfall – Each player starts drinking when the player to their left does and can only stop when they have. This starts from the player that picks the card
2 – You – Nominate someone else to drink
3 – Me – You have to drink
4 – Whores – All the girls drink
5 – Thumb Master – When you place your thumb on the table the last person to do the same must drink, you can do this as many times as you like until the next five is picked
6 – Dicks – All the guys drink
7 – Heaven – Last player to put their hands in the air drinks
8 – Mate – Pick another player that has drink whenever you decide to until the next 8 is picked
9 – Rhyme – Say a word, and the next player has to say another one that rhymes with it, carry on until someone messes and has to drink
10 – Categories – Pick a category (e.g. sports brands) then take turn naming things that fall in the category, carry on until someone messes and has to drink
J – Make a Rule – Set a rule that must be followed for the rest of the game, if someone disobeys the rule they have to drink
Q – Question Master – Ask lots of questions if someone responds they have to drink
K – Pour! – Add some of your drink to the pint glass in the middle, if it’s the fourth king the player must down the whole pint glass.
Please remember to drink responsibly! This post isn’t meant to make you sick due to the over-consumption of alcohol. PartyPingo does not encourage irresponsible drinking of any kind. Stay safe, everyone!
