Cool down with a refreshing gin and tonic with elderflower

Today on Gin&Tonic-Thursdays we’re gonna talk about a real summer-g&t with sweat rounded taste of elderflowers.

We present to you a delicious recipe for a classical gin and tonic with a refreshing aftertaste of elderflower.

What you need

  • 2-4 cl gin
  • 1-2 cl elderflowerjuice
  • Tonic
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1/4 lemon peel
  • lots of ice!

Equipment

  • A low-ball glass
  • A drink spoon

How to make it

  1. Fill the glass with ice
  2. Add gin and elderflowerjuice
  3. Fill the rest of the glass with tonic
  4. Add the mint leaves and squeeze the juice of the lemon peel over the drink. Just the peel. This will enhance the gins natural flavors.
